We were approached by a Japanese cuisine restaurant brand from Kazakhstan to develop the decor project for their summer terrace. Having previously collaborated with this company on their interior design, we quickly identified the central idea and concept for the exterior decor of their second restaurant. The main goal was to create a seating plan for the terrace, design custom furniture and upholstery, and collaborate with a landscape designer to add greenery to the terrace.
Project
Any decor project begins with a furniture layout plan. To better visualize the furniture in the space, we created a quick and simple 3D sketch. After finalizing the seating arrangement, we moved on to the landscape design plan.
Together with the landscape designer, we selected plants and flowers that would thrive under the planting and care conditions preferred by the restaurant management.
Decor project process
In the process we created a harmonious color palette that reflects the brand's key colors and designed custom furniture. Every element, from the upholstery to the handcrafted pieces, was carefully planned and precisely executed to ensure a perfect fit for the space.
